Foram hoje divulgadas, numa apresentação ao vivo a partir do Samuel Goldwyn Theater, em Beverly Hills, as nomeações aos Óscares 2026. O anúncio esteve a cargo de Danielle Brooks e Lewis Pullman.
A corrida aos Óscares 2026 é liderada por Sinners, o filme mais nomeado do ano, com 16 nomeações, destacando-se as categorias de melhor filme, realizador e ator, além de várias áreas técnicas. Com este número, o filme conhecido em Portugal como Pecadores tornou-se o mais nomeado de sempre.
Segue-se One Battle After Another (Batalha Atrás de Batalha), com 13 nomeações, com forte presença nas categorias de interpretação: Leonardo DiCaprio nomeado para Melhor Ator, Benicio Del Toro e Sean Penn ambos indicados para Melhor Ator Secundário, e Teyana Taylor com uma nomeação para Melhor Atriz Secundária. O filme conta também com nomeações a melhor filme, realizador, argumento adaptado, casting, fotografia, montagem, banda sonora original, direção artística, som e efeitos visuais.
Logo atrás surge Sentimental Value (Valor Sentimental), Frankenstein e Marty Supreme com 9 nomeações, enquanto Hamnet teve 8.
O Brasil fez história, não só pela nomeação deO Agente Secreto a melhor filme e de Wagner Moura a melhor ator, mas igualmente no novo prémio destinado ao melhor casting, além da melhor produção internacional. Nesta categoria, os Óscares selecionaram também It Was Just an Accident (Foi Só um Acidente), de Jafar Panahi, Sentimental Value (Valor Sentimental), de Joachim Trier, Sirât, de Oliver Laxe, e The Voice of Hind Rajab (A Voz de Hind Rajab), de Kaouther Ben Hania.
A cerimónia dos Óscares 2026 realiza-se a 15 de março, no Dolby Theatre, em Los Angeles, com apresentação de Conan O’Brien, pelo segundo ano consecutivo.
