O filme de suspense de Dominik Moll, “The Night of the 12th” (La Nuit du 12), triunfou na 48ª edição dos Cesars, a principal distinção do cinema gaulês.
Nomeado a 10 prémios, o projeto que retrata a forma como a polícia lida com um crime que envolveu uma mulher assassinada pelo fogo conquistou os prémios de melhor filme, realização, ator revelação, ator secundário, argumento adaptado e som.
Noutros vencedores, encontramos “Pacifiction” (melhor ator, fotografia) e “The Innocent” (melhor atriz secundária e argumento original).
Nota ainda para o triunfo de Virginie Efira (“Paris Memories”) como melhor atriz, de “Returning To Reims (Fragments)” como o melhor documentário e “My Sunny Maad” como melhor animação.
