Foram há instantes conhecidos os nomeados aos Globos de Ouro, prémios historicamente ligados a prever um pouco do que se passará com as nomeações aos Oscars da Academia das Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas, dentro de semanas.
O anúncio dos nomeados, realizado de forma virtual, foi apresentado por Sarah Jessica Parker e Taraji P. Henson.
Não foram nomeações com grandes surpresas, apesar de algumas ausências notadas e a intromissão de “The Mauritanian” nos prémios de interpretação (Jodie Foster e Tahar Rahim). Há também um elemento histórico na categoria de realização. Pela primeira vez na história dos Globos de Ouro, mais de uma mulher foi nomeada nesta categoria. Emerald Fennell, Regina King e Chloé Zhao.
Os suspeitos do costume conseguiram nomeações de melhor filme nas respetivas categorias de drama e comédia & musical. Estão lá “Nomadland“, “The Father“, “Promising Young Woman“, “Mank” e “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm“, e – como se esperava – filmes como “First Cow” e “Da 5 Bloods“, que brilharam em alguns circuitos da crítica, foram esquecidos.
É também curiosa a intromissão de Lin-Manuel Miranda e o seu “Hamilton“, que é mais propriamente um projeto para TV (de teatro filmado), no meio das propostas de cinema, enquanto o independente “Minari” foi apanhado nas malhas bizarras dos estatutos dos Globos de Ouro e, apesar de ser uma produção norte-americana, viu-se relegado para a categoria de melhor filme estrangeiro, onde está bem acompanhado por “Another Round”, entre outros.
A cerimónia este ano dos Globos de Ouro decorre no dia 28 de fevereiro. Tina Fey e Amy Poehler voltarão a apresentar a entrega dos prémios.
