Foram anunciados este domingo os vencedores dos Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards), os prémios anuais entregues pela Guilda/Sindicato dos Atores norte-americanos, de que saíram vencedores Will Smith, por “King Richard“, e Jessica Chastain, por “The Eyes of Tammy Faye“.
Nas categorias de atuações secundárias foi destacado o trabalho de Troy Kotsur em “CODA“, que se tornou o primeiro ator surdo a vencer este prémio, e a prestação de Ariana DeBose em “West Side Story“.”CODA” venceu também o prémio de melhor elenco.
Quanto aos prémios dedicados à televisão, o prémio de melhor elenco de drama foi atribuído à série da HBO “Succession“, enquanto o elenco da série da Apple TV+ “Ted Lasso” recebeu o congénere na comédia. O protagonista desta série, Jason Sudeikis, também venceu o prémio de melhor ator em comédia, ao lado de Jean Smart, que foi distinguida pela comédia “Hacks“. No lado das séries dramáticas, tanto a categoria de melhor ator como a de melhor atriz foram ganhas por Lee Jung-Jae and Jung Ho-Yeon, respetivamente, que protagonizaram “Squid Game“.
