Nomeados para os Golden Globes

 

 
Foram anunciadas as nomeações para os Golden Globes deste ano, com “Up in the Air”, o novo filme de Jason Reitman (realizador de “Juno”), a liderar com 6 nomeações, seguido de “Nine”, um musical baseado no “Oito e meio” de Fellini, com 5. Ao contrário dos Prémios da Academia, os Golden Globes dividem os nomeados para melhor filme em três categorias diferentes (para além da de filme estrangeiro, comum aos dois): drama, comédia ou musica e animação. A grande surpresa das nomeações para melhor drama é a inclusão de “Inglorious Basterds” de Tarantino nas nomeações, onde é acompanhado por “Up in the Air”, “Avatar” de James Cameron, “The Hurt Locker” de Kathryn Bigelow e “Precious”. Do lado da comédia, foram nomeados o já referido “Nine”, “(500) Days of Summer”, “The Hangover”, “It’s Complicated” e “Julie & Julia”. Para melhor filme animado foram nomeados o “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”, “Coraline” baseado num conto de Neil Gaiman, “Fantastic Mr. Fox” de Wes Anderson, que teve a sua antestreia há semanas no Estoril Film Festival, a nova animação da Disney “The Princess and the Frog” e o sucesso de verão da Pixar “Up”. Para melhor filme estrangeiro estão nomeados os últimos de Almodovar “Abraços Desfeitos” e de Michael Haneke “O Laço Branco”, já bastante aclamados no circuito dos festivais.
Kathryn Bigelow (“The Hurt Locker”) é a única mulher a ser nomeada para melhor realizadora, numa categoria normalmente dominada por homens, onde irá competir com o seu ex-marido James Cameron (“Avatar”), Clint Eastwood (“Invictus”), Jason Reitman (“Up in the Air”) e Quentin Tarantino (“Inglorious Basterds”). 
Nas representações, tanto Meryl Streep, já nomeada 23 vezes antes, como Sandra Bullock têm duas nomeações, a primeira por “Julie & Julia” e “It’s Complicated”, a segunda por “The Blind Side” e pela sua participação na comédia romântica “A Proposta”. São acompanhadas por Marion Cotillard, Julia Roberts, Emily Blunt e Helen Mirren, entre outras.
Na categoria de televisão, os nomeados incluem “Dexter”, “House”, “Mad Men”, “True Blood” e “Big Love” para melhor série dramática, “30 Rock”, “Entourage”, “Glee”, “Modern Family” e a versão americana de “The Office”, para melhor comédia ou musical.
Já em anos passados a disparidade entre os Golden Globes foi evidente, com uma coincidência entre os filmes nomeados para Melhor Filme em apenas metade dos últimos dez anos, diferença essa que se deve aprofundar com a decisão da Academia de aumentar para 10 as nomeações nessa categoria. Entre nós, com a maioria dos filmes ainda por estrear em salas portuguesas, os Globes, que serão apresentados a 17 de Janeiro por Ricky Gervais, servirão apenas para aumentar a especulação para os Prémios da Academia.
