Com 10 nomeações, o filme “Mank” é o mais nomeado à 93ª edição dos Oscars, prémios que devido à pandemia serão entregues apenas a 25 de abril. Realizado por David Fincher, a produção da Netflix conseguiu nomeações para o seu realizador, ator (Gary Oldman) e atriz secundária (Amanda Seyfried), além de melhor filme.
“Mank” é seguido “ao longe por “The Father“, “Judas and the Black Messiah”, “Minari”, “Nomadland” “Sound of Metal” e “The Trial of the Chicago 7.” “Promising Young Woman” teve cinco nomeações.
