“The King’s Speech” foi o grande vencedor dos British Independent Film Awards, com cinco prémios (entre eles o Melhor Filme Independente Britânico). “Monster’s”, uma obra que vai dar muito que falar, conseguiu 3 prémios, entre eles o galardão para o Melhor Realizador.
