Para além da distinção de Filme Europeu do ano, a fita arrecadou ainda os prémios de Melhor Actor para Ewan McGregor, Melhor Argumento para Robert Harris, Melhor Banda Sonora para Alexandre Desplat e Direcção Artística para Albrecht Konrad. O próprio Polanski também foi distinguido como Melhor Realizador. No entanto, devido ao seu processo pendente na justiça americana desde 1978, e ao acordo de extradição entre Estónia e Estados Unidos, ele não pôde estar presente no evento.
O galardão de Melhor Actriz coube à francesa Sylvie Testud por “Lourdes”. O filme “Lebanon” foi vencedor em duas categorias, Melhor Fotografia e Prémio FIPRESCI, entregue pela imprensa.
Foram ainda entregues dois prémios de carreira, ao actor Bruno Ganz e ao compositor Gabriel Yared.
