Carol é o filme mais nomeado aos Prémios do Círculo da Crítica de Londres, que serão entregues no próximo dia 17 de janeiro. Com sete nomeações, o filme de Todd Haynes é seguido de perto por 45 Years, com seis indicações, e Mad Max: Estrada da Fúria, The Revenant e Steve Jobs com cinco.
A destacar ainda a tripla nomeação de Tom Hardy aos prémios. Para além de estar indicado como melhor ator por Lendas do Crime, Hardy conseguiu nomeações para melhor ator britânico e melhor ator secundário.
