Vai decorrer na próxima madrugada a entrega dos Globos de Ouros, prémios atribuídos pela Imprensa Estrangeira em Hollywood.
A cerimónia, que vai decorrer às 01h00 em Portugal continental (às 18h00 em Los Angeles), vai ter como anfitrião o ator Seth Meyers – que fez parte da equipa de escritores quando Tina Fey e Amy Poehler apresentaram a cerimónia entre 2013 e 2015 – e terá aproximadamente três horas de duração. No nosso país, o certame vai ser transmitido na Sic Caras logo depois da meia-noite, com a famosa passadeira vermelha.
Pelo palco do evento, para entregar prémios ou apresentar personalidades, vão passar grandes nomes do cinema atual, como Angelina Jolie, Gal Gadot, Isabelle Huppert, Kerry Washington, Amy Poehler, Kelly Clarkson, Emma Watson, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Stone, Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Seth Rogan, Halle Berry, Darren Criss, Hugh Grant, Christina Hendricks, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alicia Vikander, Sharon Stone, Shirley Maclaine, Ricky Martin, Sarah Jessica Parker, Greta Gerwig, Edgar Ramírez, J.K. Simmons, Dakota Johnson, Andy Samberg, Carol Burnett, Neil Patrick Harris, Chris Hemsworth e Helen Mirren.
Quem também certamente vai marcar presença é Oprah, homenageada este ano com o prémio Cecil B. DeMille.
Passadeira vermelha ou negra?
A cerimónia dos Globos de Ouro vai marcar o início de uma iniciativa que vai unir as mulheres ligadas ao Cinema contra o assédio sexual. O negro vai marcar as vestimentas em apoio às iniciativas Time’s Up e #MeToo, pelas vítimas de assédio e violência – não só em Hollywood. Os homens prometem seguir a tendência.
Esta não é a primeira vez que Hollywood mostra a sua solidariedade através da moda. No ano passado, por exemplo, Emma Stone e Dakota Johnson usaram um pequeno pin de ouro para apoiar a Planned, uma organização que luta pelo planeamento familiar. Igualmente no ano passado houve um protesto na cerimónia com a iniciativa Ask it More, que deixava claro que as mulheres não queriam mais perguntas sexistas no tapete vermelho.
Os nomeados
Entre os destaques conta-se The Shape Of Water com sete nomeações, e The Post e Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri com seis. Call Me by Your Name, Lady Bird e Get Out são outros filmes com fortes possibilidades de sairem premiados.
Na TV, Big Little Lies soma seis indicações, incluíndo nomeações nas categorias de interpretação para Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Alexander Skarsgard, Laura Dern e Shailene Woodley.
