Trumbo, o filme de Jay Roach que nos remete à vida do argumentista Dalton Trumbo, focando-se na sua afiliação com o Partido Comunista, foi a produção cinematográfica mais nomeada, contando com 3 indicações, incluindo a de Melhor Ator Principal (Bryan Cranston). Quanto à televisão, House of Cards foi o mais nomeado, destacando-se as nomeações de Kevin Spacey e Robin Wright.
