Na noite deste domingo foram entregues as mais prestigiadas estatuetas do mundo da televisão, e a Netflix fez história ao conseguir, pela primeira vez, ser a mais premiada de todas as plataformas ou canais. O sucesso deve-se sobretudo a “The Crown”, o drama sobre a família real britânica, e a minissérie “The Queen’s Gambit“. A outra grande vencedora da noite foi a Apple TV+, cuja “Ted Lasso” foi eleita a melhor série de comédia. As plataformas de streaming tiveram assim um grande destaque nesta 73ª edição dos Emmys, com a HBO, a habitual vencedora de mais prémios, a ficar em terceiro lugar com algumas estatuetas entregues a “Mare of Easttown” e “Hacks“.
Entre os perdedores inesperados encontramos “WandaVision“, que esta noite não acrescentou nenhum prémio às três estatuetas que havia arrecadado no fim-de-semana passado na cerimónia dos Creative Arts Emmys.
