A UHM vai lançar em novembro uma edição limitada em vinil com a banda-sonora de “1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything“, a nova série documental da Apple TV+ que conta com a realização de Asif Kapadia, o responsável por “Amy“, “Senna” e “Exit Through the Gift Shop“.
Inspirada no livro “Never a Dull Moment: 1971 the Year That Rock Exploded” de David Hepworth, o projeto de 8 episódios explora os músicos e as músicas que moldaram a cultura e a política de 1971.
O álbum, disponível no formato de 2 LP’s, mas também digitalmente, inclui alguns dos artistas e temas mais icónicos que ainda ressoam 50 anos depois, incluindo músicas dos The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, The Who e The Beach Boys.
