Três importantes círculos da crítica norte-americana divulgaram hoje as suas listas com os Melhores de 2011 e houve diversas divergências nas escolhas.
Logo na categoria de Melhor Filme, os críticos de meios online de Nova Iorque (NYFCO) e os críticos de Boston optaram por «The Artist», enquanto Los Angeles escolheu «The Descendents» (que é o nº 2 do top da NYFCO).
No que toca a outros premiados, cada um dos circulos escolheu um nome diferente, quer para a categoria de Melhor Actriz como na categoria de Melhor Actriz ou Realizador.
Quem parece liderar e tem tudo para conquistar o Óscar de Melhor Filme Estrangeiro é «A Separation», que perdeu para «Incendies» em Boston, mas soma já vitórias nos mais importantes círculos da crítica norte-americana.
