Festival de Veneza com estreias mundiais de filmes de Clooney, Aronofsky, Del Toro e Kechiche

O Festival de Veneza acaba de anunciar o seu alinhamento para este ano, e conforme se especulava, saiu-se com um lote que em teoria será tão ou mais forte de filmes como a edição deste ano de Cannes. 

Para começar, temos as estreias mundiais do misterioso “mother!” de Darren Aronofsky (ainda sem um trailer oficial online a menos de dois meses da estreia, contando apenas com um teaser áudio a ser mostrado em cinemas selecionados), “Suburbicon” de George Clooney, “Downsizing” de Alexander Payne (filme de abertura do certame) e “The Shape of Water” de Guillermo Del Toro – todos estes em competição oficial, todos estes também com presença em Toronto. 

O festival conseguiu também caçar para a sua competição “Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno” de Abdellatif Kechiche (A Vida de Adéle) e “Lean on Pete” de Andrew Haigh (45 Years).
