14 de fevereiro, vamos ver (o) amor?

Hoje, o mundo celebra o dia mais romântico do ano.

Ora bem, caros apaixonados.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind / O Despertar da Mente | Michel Gondry. 2004

“I could die right now, Clem. I’m just… happy. I’ve never felt that before. I’m just exactly where I want to be.”
– Joel Barish (Jim Carrey)

The Notebook / O Diário da Nossa Paixão | Nick Cassavetes. 2004

“I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who’s ever lived: I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough.”
– Noah (Ryan Gosling)

(500) Days of Summer / (500) Dias com Summer | Marc Webb. 2009

“Just because she likes the same bizzaro crap you do doesn’t mean she’s your soul mate.”
– Rachel Hansen (Chloë Grace Moretz)

Faa yeung nin wa / Disponível Para Amar | Kar-Wai Wong. 2000

“It is a restless moment. She has kept her head lowered… to give him a chance to come closer. But he could not, for lack of courage. She turns and walks away.”

Love, Actually / O Amor Acontece | Richard Curtis. 2003

“It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there – fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge – they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.”
– Prime Minister (Hugh Grant)

Brokeback Mountain / O Segredo de Brokeback Mountain | Ang Lee (2005)

“Truth is, sometimes I miss you so much I can hardly stand it.”
– Jack Twist ( Jake Gyllenhaal)

Love & Basketball | Gina Prince-Bythewood. 2000

“I’ve been in love with you since I was eleven, and the shit won’t go away.”
– Monica (Sanaa Lathan)

Sleepless in Seattle / Sintonia de Amor | Nora Ephron. 1993

“Annie, when you’re attracted to someone, it just means that your subconscious is attracted to their subconscious, subconsciously. So what we think of as fate is just two neuroses knowing that they are a perfect match.”
– Dennis Reed (David Hyde Pierce)

Bridget Jones’s Diary / O Diário de Bridget Jones | Sharon Maguire. 2001

“I don’t think you’re an idiot at all. I mean, there are elements of the ridiculous about you. Your mother’s pretty interesting. And you really are an appallingly bad public speaker. And, um, you tend to let whatever’s in your head come out of your mouth without much consideration of the consequences… But the thing is, um, what I’m trying to say, very inarticulately, is that, um, in fact, perhaps despite appearances, I like you, very much. Just as you are.”
– Mark Darcy (Colin Firth)

My Best Friend’s Wedding / O Casamento do Meu Melhor Amigo | P.J. Hogan. 1997

“Michael, I love you. I’ve loved you for nine years. I’ve just been too arrogant and scared to realize it, and, well, now, I’m just scared, so – I-I-I realize this comes at a very inopportune time, but I really have this gigantic favor to ask of you. Choose me. M-marry me. Let me make you happy.”
– Julianne Potter (Julia Roberts)

Like Crazy | Drake Doremus. 2011

“I thought I understood it. But I didn’t. I knew the smudgeness of it. The eagerness of it. The Idea of it. Of you and me.”
– Anna (Felicity Jones)

Ghost / Ghost – Espírito do Amor | Jerry Zucker. 1990

“It seems like whenever anything good in my life happens, I’m just afraid I’m going to lose it.”
– Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze)

Loving / Uma História de Amor | Jeff Nichols. 2016

– Yes, Yes. Tell them I love my wife.”
– Richard Loving (Joel Edgerton)

La vie d’Adèle / A Vida de Adèle | Abdellatif Kechiche. 2013

“I am happy. I’m happy with you, like this. It’s my way of being happy.”
– Adèle (Adèle Exarchopoulos)
